Fortitude Convention 2026

Fortitude Convention

There are times when stepping away from the screen and closing Slack channels is not just helpful, but essential to see the bigger picture. A few weeks ago, the entire Fortitude Group took a break from the daily routine to gather for a couple of days in the beautiful setting of Lake Iseo.

For those of us at Bitrock, it was a golden opportunity to finally bring together all the different companies that make up our Group: our colleagues from ProActivity (our staff augmentation company), the Waterstream team, and the minds behind Radicalbit, the AI monitoring and management platform.

Gathering everyone in the same place made the sheer amount of diverse skills and faces within our reality immediately tangible.

Achievements, Vision, and a Shared Goal: Digital Sovereignty

The first goal of the convention was to take stock of where we stand. We shared the milestones reached so far, but above all, it was the perfect time to align on the Group’s long-term vision.

Today’s enterprise market faces increasingly complex challenges in digital transformation and innovation. Our goal is to support clients along this journey, with a very specific focus on a topic we deeply care about: digital sovereignty. We are committed to ensuring that those who rely on us always maintain full control and independence over their technology and data.

To deliver top-tier expertise on such a crucial front, it became clear that strengthening the synergy across all parts of the Group is the true hallmark of our approach and what allows us to make a real difference.

Beyond Work: Building Real Connections

Since synergy isn’t built just through words or slides, we wanted to put it into practice right away. We spent time together breaking into various teams for a series of group activities designed to help us get to know each other better. The idea was to move beyond the purely professional dimension, creating solid, positive personal bonds—and, quite simply, having fun together outside the usual work context.

Amidst all this, there was a fantastic surprise born directly from within our team. The guys from our Front-End team spontaneously decided to put their skills at everyone’s service, internally developing a dedicated app for the convention. The app turned the goal of networking into an actual game, boosting interaction among colleagues from different companies and becoming a massive hit with everyone. It was a truly special initiative that highlights our team spirit, but we won’t give too much away here: the app and its development deserve their own dedicated article, which we will publish very soon.

Conclusion

These two days on Lake Iseo were a wonderful experience that reminded us of the importance of personal connections and shared growth. We are back at our desks (and remote setups) feeling like a truly united group, packed with great energy for our future projects.
